Planning Your Islamorada Vacation
What you need to know before you go

Islamorada is actually comprised of six separate islands that include Plantation Key, Windley Key, Upper Matecumbe Key, Lower Matecumbe Key and the offshore islands of Lignumvitae Key and Indian Key.

Islamorada's reputation as a international destination for sport fishing is well earned with a fleet of highly-skilled recreational fishing captains. Here, it is possible to both catch a sailfish in deep blue waters of the Florida Straits and then venture into the saltwater wilderness of Everglades National Park in pursuit of bonefish, permit, tarpon, snook and redfish in just inches of water.

But, there are many other reasons for visiting Islamorada than just the great fishing. The abundance of tropical marine life combined with a wide variety of shallow coral reefs and shipwrecks makes for some great scuba diving and snorkeling.

Islamorada is a true village with a laid back and relaxed atmosphere, where restaurants, hotels and quaint shops are tucked away in tropical landscapes, and surrounded by the clear, clean water of the Florida Keys. This makes it an ideal destinations for honeymooners and couples looking for a romantic getaway
