Family Fun in the Florida Panhandle
What you need to know before you go

The Florida Panhandle offers families plenty of options for having fun.

Because of the huge military presence in the region, the area hosts many excellent aviation museums that shouldn't be missed -- like the Air Force Armament Museum on the grounds of Eglin Air Force Base and the The National Museum of Naval Aviation in Pensacola.

With miles of emerald blue coast, it's only natural that the Florida Panhandle would also have some excellent aquariums -- and Gulf World Marine Park in Panama City Beach and Florida Gulfarium in Ft Walton Beach don't disappoint.

But in addition, the Panhandle has its share of standard Florida tourist attractions like amusement parks, go cart tracks, miniature golf courses and water parks that the kids will be sure to enjoy.

So pull the kids off the beach for an afternoon and check out some of the great family friendly attractions that the Florida Panhandle has to offer.
