The Tarpon fishing along the eastern end of Cape San Blas is an absolute freak show. Somewhere along mid June (give or take a week or so), huge schools of pogies will begin to innundate the Cape San Blas beaches. The Tarpon are right on their tails. During the peak season (July & August) you will see more Tarpon in one day than is humanly possible to count.
