Fishing in Disney World
Yes...you can actually fish in Disney's Lakes!

In the late 1960's Disney released 70,000 bass into Bay Lake and Seven Seas Lagoon and let them grow and breed undisturbed until 1977. Today Walt Disney World guests can expect to pull in bass weighing 2 to 8 pounds, and these waters have caught the attention of such professional bass fisherman as Jimmy Houston, Hank Parker and Bill Dance.

Two-hour fishing excursion in the lakes of Walt Disney World are available that allow you and up to four other Guests to set out on a private catch-and-release fishing trip. A 1 hour long excursion is also available for guests ages 6-12.

Or, you can fish along the docks at the Fort Wilderness Campgrounds and the Port Orleans Resort. No reservations required.

For more information on fishing at Walt Disney World, check out Walt Disney World's website.
