The Brevard Zoo, just north of Melbourne, is a great family destination. It's part zoo and part adventure -- including things like the ability to kayak through the zoo on your own, or the opportunity to pet a giraffe. All-in-all a "must see" for any family with young kids that are visiting the space coast.
